Behold the trailer for Mitt, a documentary that promises an intimate look at the behind-the-scenes events of Mitt Romney's failed bid for president. "For six years, one filmmaker had exclusive access to Mitt Romney," says the trailer, and it's clear that filmmaker Greg Whiteley has made the most of that access. The trailer cuts between the political, as Romney takes on his Republican primary rivals and President Obama, and the personal, as Romney spends time behind closed doors with his wife and children.

There are two questions at the heart of Mitt: What is it like to spend all that time and money running for president and lose? And what will Romney do in the wake of that loss?

"I have looked, by the way, at what happens to anybody who loses as the nominee of their party," says Romney in the trailer. "They become a loser for life, alright? It's over."

Will watching Mitt change anyone's mind about Romney's legacy? We'll find out when Netflix streams the documentary on January 24.
