Now we see the real Zimmerman
George Zimmerman sure doesn’t look like an innocent victim now, does he?
“I told you so!” said Juan Williams. George Zimmerman sure doesn’t look like an innocent victim now, does he? The former neighborhood watch volunteer who claims he shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in self-defense has repeatedly proved himself to be a guy “with serious anger issues” who likes to use guns “to threaten people.” Last week, Zimmerman was charged with aggravated assault, after allegedly putting a gun in his girlfriend’s face and shoving her out the door of her own apartment. He told cops the girlfriend threatened him. Just a few months earlier, his estranged wife told police Zimmerman threatened to shoot her, punched her elderly father in the face, and destroyed her iPad to erase photos of his rampage. Obviously, Zimmerman is not the Second Amendment poster boy of conservatives’ imagination. He’s the liar and angry loser prosecutors described, who probably threatened Martin with his gun and provoked the fight that ended in the teen’s death. Liberals were wrong in ascribing that killing to racism: Zimmerman appears to be “a threat to people of all colors.”
