The former palace of Napoleon’s grandnephew is today Paris’s “most extraordinary” luxury hotel, said Katie Kelly Bell in Forbes.com. Many high-priced properties offer “seamless, silken service,” but “only one can offer up-close, front-porch views of the Eiffel Tower with an added dose of Napoleonic splendor.” A “meticulous” recent restoration freshened the building’s museum-quality murals, and the palace’s stables now house the city’s largest indoor pool. After dinner downstairs, have a glass of champagne on your plumped-up bed and “watch the tower sparkle.“
