Hotel of the week: Wythe Hotel, Brooklyn
The views of Manhattan are “picture perfect.”
Finally, “hipsters the world over (and the parents who support them)” have a place to check their bags in Brooklyn, said Eimear Lynch in Condé Nast Traveler. The Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg has everything you’d expect from the neighborhood’s most with-it hotel, including exposed-brick walls and borrowable bicycles. But the rooms are “brighter than you’d imagine,” and the views of Manhattan “picture perfect.” The proprietors run two “beloved” local eateries. Their hotel restaurant serves New York–raised lamb, beef, and chicken, roasted in a wood-burning oven.
