Mexico’s “up-and-coming Riviera Nayarit” has a luxurious new hotel, said Hilary Howard in The New York Times. Located in the town of Punta de Mita on the Pacific Coast north of Puerto Vallarta, the Hotel Des Artistes offers oceanfront suites equipped with original Mexican art. Amenities include a rooftop deck with an infinity pool, a beachside pool, and a fitness club and spa. The Café des Artistes del Mar restaurant features a piano bar and an outdoor terrace. A 15-minute boat ride takes guests to Marietas Islands National Park, “where they can snorkel or scuba dive.”Hoteldesartistesdelmar.com
