1. Daniel Kaluuya is producing a Barney movie

If you had Barney on your "Which half-remembered children's franchise will Hollywood reboot next?" bingo card, your number has finally come up. The cuddly purple dinosaur — whose inescapable "I love you, you love me" refrain haunted day-cares across the country in the early 1990s — will return in a live-action movie reboot produced by Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya. The announcement promises that the movie will "surprise audiences and subvert expectations," so who knows, maybe the purple dinosaur will eat all those kids this time around.

2. Banksy opens an online art store

Have you always dreamed of owning a Banksy? Great news: Here is your very, very remote chance to get one! The art world's favorite prankster has opened an online store, where pieces like a disco-ball police helmet and a Union Jack bulletproof jacket will sell for between 500 and 750 euros — a fairly reasonable price, since a Banksy piece sold for 9,879,500 euros just a couple weeks ago. Of course, Banksy being Banksy, there's a catch: All would-be buyers must answer the question "Why does art matter?" (Pro tip: You'll probably need to work a little harder than "Because it'll make me rich.")

3. Stephen King is turning his Maine mansion into a writer's retreat

Having spent much of his career living in Maine (and writing about scary stuff happening in it), Stephen King is moving to the second spookiest state in America: Flooooooridaaaaa. In preparation for the move, the author has received approval to re-zone his famous home in Maine as a nonprofit, which will serve as both a museum for King's archive and a retreat for up to five writers. And if you're thinking "five writers staying at Stephen King's mansion" sounds like a great setup for a horror novel, you should probably apply for a residency.

4. Jennifer Lawrence's wedding venue used to host ghost tours

How do you decide between celebrating Halloween and attending Jennifer Lawrence's wedding this weekend? Fortunately, it doesn't sound like you'll need to choose. The reported venue for Lawrence's wedding, Rhode Island’s historic mansion Belcourt of Newport, was built in 1894, and was once rumored to be haunted — even hosting ghost and murder mystery tours. But never fear: The home's current owner brought in a shaman to do a "major cleansing," so it sounds like the only spirits at Lawrence's wedding will be at the open bar.

5. CBS is rebooting Clueless without Cher Horowitz

The '90s teen movie Clueless became a breakout hit due, in large part, to Alicia Silverstone's star-making performance as the fashion-obsessed Cher Horowitz. So what is Hollywood, in its infinite wisdom, planning next? A Clueless reboot without Cher Horowitz. The proposed Clueless TV series would follow Cher's best friend Dionne as she does her best to solve the mystery of Cher's disappearance — so let's hope they won't be taking the title Clueless too literally this time.
