▪ Pop music’s most famous couple has gotten back together. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been practically inseparable over the past week, enjoying a hockey game, a romantic bike ride, breakfast, and two church trips together. Gomez recently split with The Weeknd, s frequently photographed with other women. “Selena had to be won over,” a source tells TMZ.com. It helped that Bieber was spending a lot of time at Los Angeles’ Hillsong Church, having canceled his world tour to “rededicate his life to Christ.” Gomez’s family still blames Bieber for her 2016 stint in a treatment center for depression. “Justin is a vile human being and will never be accepted by us,” said a family member.
▪ Kevin Spacey is seeking evaluation and treatment as the allegations against him of sexual assault continue to pile up. British police, meanwhile, have launched a criminal investigation into claims that in 2008 he performed a sex act on a man who was unconscious. At least two men have accused the Oscar-winning actor of sexually assaulting them when they were 14, while eight people say Spacey created a “toxic” work environment on the set of House of Cards—allegedly groping and propositioning young men. Richard Dreyfuss’ son Harry also accused Spacey of groping him when Harry, then a high school senior, and his father were at Spacey’s London home rehearsing a script. Netflix producers will reportedly kill off Spacey’s House of Cards character, Frank Underwood, for the sixth and final season.
▪ Director and producer Brett Ratner has joined the long list of Hollywood figures accused of sexual misconduct. Six women, including actress Olivia Munn, have accused the Rush Hour director of incidents ranging from sexual harassment to forced oral sex. Munn said Ratner masturbated in front of her when she brought a meal to his trailer. Ratner vehemently denies “the outrageous derogatory allegations.” ■
