The Week Contest
This week’s question: A California man is fighting the government for the right to fire himself 1,800 feet above the Mojave Desert in a homemade rocket, so he can take a photo of Earth and prove that the planet is flat. If Hollywood were to make a film about this Flat Earther’s madcap project, what would it be called?
Last week’s contest: Researchers at Oregon State University have created a new strain of seaweed that has three times the nutritional value of kale and allegedly tastes like bacon when cooked. Please come up with a catchy new name for this super seaweed that will entice even hardened meat lovers to eat their greens.
THE WINNER: Hamburger kelper Kevin Spinner, Mill Valley, Calif.
SECOND PLACE: Seasage Brad Plack, Denver
THIRD PLACE: Reef jerky Mary Sukkar, Tulsa
