Stressed-out New Yorkers are leaving the city for sessions of therapeutic “cow cuddling.” At Mountain Horse Farm in upstate New York, a 60-minute session with a cow starts at $75. Cuddling a warm, 1,000-pound cow can impart a sense of calm, the farm’s website says, because the animals “sense if you are happy, sad, feel lost, anxious, or are excited,” and respond “without judgment, ego, or agenda.”
A Kentucky man was shocked by the negative reaction when he dressed as a Nazi for Halloween and made his son look like Adolf Hitler, complete with mustache. Bryant Goldbach complained on Facebook about the threats and “snide remarks” the costumes provoked, but later apologized for his “bad judgment,” explaining that he’s just a history buff who last year dressed up as a Confederate soldier.
