The Week contest
This week’s question: Hasbro has released a new board game called Monopoly for Millennials, in which players invest not in houses or hotels but in “super relatable” experiences, such as a trip to a vegan restaurant. If a toymaker were to create a new board game in which players have to confront problems unique to Baby Boomers, what should the game be called?
Last week’s contest: A new study has found that vegetarians report lower self-respect and derive less pleasure from life than omnivores, possibly because of ostracism they feel from meat eaters. Please come up with a term for the prejudice faced by vegetarians in a society dominated by carnivores.
THE WINNER: Vegudice—Laurel Wroten, Petaluma, Calif.
SECOND PLACE: Kale chauvinism Tim Mistele, Coral Gables, Fla.
THIRD PLACE: Veganimosity Ken Kellam III, Dallas
