Hotel of the week
239 feet of floating luxury
“A night or two at Edinburgh’s newest hotel is probably the closest you will get to staying on a superyacht without actually chartering one,” said Claire Wrathall in the Financial Times. The former lighthouse supply ship recently underwent a renovation that removed 187 tons of steel, added two new decks, and converted the bridge into a dining room, the fuel tanks into a galley, and the hold into a ballroom. The 23 spacious cabins speak well of Scottish artistry and craftsmanship, while the large, light-filled lounge serves a “lavish” $50-a-head afternoon tea.
