USPS Informed Delivery sends every user a daily email that includes photos of any letter-size mail due to be delivered that day, plus a list of the packages. You can use the app to leave delivery instructions or report if an item never arrives.
FedEx Delivery Manager offers several options for notification, including on the day of shipment or a day before delivery. You can specify drop-off locations, place a hold for up to two weeks, and redirect packages to one of 12,000 FedEx locations. For a fee, you can also schedule delivery times and reroute deliveries to other addresses.
UPS My Choice will send a text or email at each stage of the delivery, including the morning of, with an ETA included. The app, like FedEx’s, lets you pay for various services, and on UPS.com, you can ask to have the package left with a neighbor or at one of 9,000 UPS Access Points.
