The FBI has concluded that several spy devices discovered around Washington, D.C., were likely placed there by Israeli intelligence to listen in on President Trump’s cellphone conversations. Trump said he found it “hard to believe” that Israel planted the surveillance devices, known as StingRays, and Israel denied any involvement.
The percentage of murders solved in the U.S. has fallen from 91 percent in 1965 to 61.6 percent in 2017—one of the lowest “clearance rates” in the Western world. Some criminal justice experts theorize this is the result of an estimated 2,000 to 4,000 active serial killers who are literally getting away with murder.
