Hotel of the week
Two years after Hurricane Irma devastated the Caribbean, “St. Barts is now fully open to tourists,” said Tariro Mzezewa in The New York Times. That becomes official with the reopening of “one of the most luxurious properties on the island”—Eden Rock. The 37-room resort has been more than repaired. It now features a restaurant run by chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, a spa that offers beachside treatments, a team of professional sunscreen attendants, a frosé trolley, and boardwalk access to a new lagoon, which the hotel’s owners invested in protecting.
