In nearly 100 U.S. metropolitan areas and cities, whites are in the majority among residents over the age of 45, while nonwhites make up the majority of younger people. Overall, the most common age for a non-Hispanic white person in the U.S. is 58. For nonwhites, it’s 27.

A far-right organization called “We Build the Wall” has begun bulldozing an area along the banks of the Rio Grande in Texas to build a 3½-mile privately funded border fence, despite not having a permit. The group, which is led by former Trump adviser Steve Bannon, says it has raised $25 million from private donors to build 35 miles of barriers.

One in four Europeans holds strong anti-Semitic views, a new survey by the Anti-Defamation League found. In Spain, Belgium, Austria, Germany, and Italy, 49 percent said Jews are much more loyal to Israel than to their own country, and in Ukraine and Hungary, 71 percent said Jews have too much power in the world of business.
