Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin slammed House Republicans for passing a $1.1 trillion spending bill late Thursday, a step toward keeping the government open.
"It's baffling really," Palin told Breitbart News on Friday. "The Republican leadership in the House just flipped American voters the bird by sidelining the new Congress we just elected."
The House narrowly passed the bill, 219-206, with 162 Republicans supporting the measure. The Senate may vote today on the bill, which has critics on both sides of the aisle, namely Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas). --Julie Kliegman
