President Trump appeared to backhandedly defend Vanity Fair on Thursday after the magazine apologized over a controversial video that proposed New Year's resolutions for Hillary Clinton. "Vanity Fair, which looks like it is on its last legs, is bending over backwards in apologizing for the minor hit they took at Crooked H," Trump tweeted:

Additionally, Trump appeared to mistake Vanity Fair for Vogue, which Anna Wintour has helmed since 1988. Wintour took over as artistic director of Condé Nast, which publishes both Vogue and Vanity Fair, in 2013. Vanity Fair's editor-in-chief, however, is Radhika Jones.

Trump's tweet was apparently fired off from his golf course in Palm Beach, Florida, where he arrived at 8:36 a.m. Jeva Lange
