A Fox News poll has once again touched a nerve with President Trump.
Trump fired off yet another attack on the network Thursday after a brutal Fox News poll showed a majority of voters, 51 percent, support impeaching the president and removing him from office. That's up nine percentage points since a Fox News poll conducted in July.
"Whoever their pollster is, they suck," Trump complained of Fox News, also renewing his attacks on Fox News personalities who have criticized him like anchor Shepard Smith and legal analyst Andrew Napolitano, who recently blasted the president for "reckless, constitutionally destructive behavior." Trump provided himself some solace, though, by capping off his complaint with, "Oh well, I'm President!"
From the day I announced I was running for President, I have NEVER had a good @FoxNews Poll. Whoever their Pollster is, they suck. But @FoxNews is also much different than it used to be in the good old days. With people like Andrew Napolitano, who wanted to be a Supreme....
...Court Justice & I turned him down (he’s been terrible ever since), Shep Smith, @donnabrazile (who gave Crooked Hillary the debate questions & got fired from @CNN), & others, @FoxNews doesn’t deliver for US anymore. It is so different than it used to be. Oh well, I’m President!
Amid this feud, The Daily Beast has reported that Trump has embraced another conservative network, One America News Network, partially to "make the Fox News brass jealous," and Trump just so happened to tweet praise for One America News' "fair coverage and brilliant reporting" immediately after his Fox News rant, adding, "It is appreciated by many people trying so hard to find a new, consistent and powerful VOICE!"
