Entrepreneur Andrew Yang brutally attacked President Trump's physical appearance at a recent event, mocking him as a "fat" "slob" with "really large body mass."
Yang's rant came as he spoke in Iowa over the weekend, as reported by The Atlantic, saying he challenges the president to "any physical or mental feat under the sun." The businessman may have to get in line, with former Vice President Joe Biden having already declared he'll challenge Trump to a push-up contest should he make fun of his age. "I'd say, 'C'mon Donald, c'mon man," Biden told Morning Joe. "How many push-ups do you want to do here, pal?'"
But Yang went much further, asking of Trump, "I mean, gosh, what could that guy beat me at, being a slob?" The Atlantic reports an aide desperately attempted to pull Yang away to no avail, as he continued, "Like, what could Donald Trump possibly be better than me at? An eating contest? Like something that involved trying to keep something on the ground and having really large body mass? Like, if there was a hot-air balloon that was rising and you needed to try and keep it on the ground, he would be better than me at that? Because he is so fat."
This came as fellow 2020 Democrat, New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, similarly made a declaration about his physical appearance compared to Trump's, joking on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah that he can beat the president in 2020 because "I'm taller," The Hill reports. "Do the math," he added.
Yang recently qualified for the third Democratic presidential debate, bringing the possibility of the 2020 election being decided by a physical challenge, or perhaps a keeping-a-hot-air balloon-on-the-ground contest, one step closer to reality. Brendan Morrow
