1. Harry Styles faces backlash after saying his Grammy win 'doesn't happen to people like me very often'

Harry Styles did some late night talking, and Twitter is pretty mad. The "As It Was" singer unexpectedly won Album of the Year for Harry's House at Sunday's Grammys, shocking pundits who widely expected Beyoncé's Renaissance to prevail. Beyoncé did take home enough awards to break the record for most wins ever, but she has still never won Album of the Year, nor has any Black woman won it since 1999. With that in mind, Styles was mocked for saying in his acceptance speech that "this doesn't happen to people like me very often," leading one tweet to declare, "I gotta be honest I can't think of a type of people this happens for more." Vulture's Sam Sanders also called this the "most white privilege-iest thing to ever be uttered at an awards show." But the win came down to the fact that for Grammy voters, their favorite thing about Styles' album was that it feels like an album.

2. Armie Hammer breaks silence on sexual misconduct allegations, admits he emotionally abused women

Does anyone have an appetite for Armie Hammer's comeback tour? The disgraced actor has given his first interview since facing disturbing allegations of sexual abuse, including claims that he has a cannibalism fetish and violently raped a woman. Speaking with Air Mail, Hammer claimed the alleged rape was actually a "scene" that he and the woman planned out and was "her idea," though he supposedly deleted messages that would prove this. Hammer denied ever engaging in non-consensual sex but said his "sexual interests became about being in control," which he blamed on allegedly being sexually abused by a youth pastor when he was 13. He admitted, though, that he was "one million percent" emotionally abusive to women, "used people," and was an "a--hole." Hammer also revealed he is now "massively in debt" and that he attempted suicide after the allegations emerged by swimming into the ocean, hoping "that either I drowned, or was hit by a boat, or eaten by a shark."

3. Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr. reportedly returning for 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' sequel

We know what they're filming next summer. A new I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel is in the works at Sony with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. in talks to return, Deadline reports. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who helmed last year's Do Revenge, is reportedly set to direct. The original 1997 slasher revolved around a group of friends who are stalked by a killer wielding a hook after accidentally hitting a pedestrian. According to Deadline, this will be one of those "passing of the torch" movies combining the original cast with new characters, as satirized in last year's Scream revival. In fact, 2022's Scream seems to have helped get this relaunch off the ground, which is only appropriate given I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream share a screenwriter. So, what do you say, Jennifer Aniston: ready to return for a Leprechaun legacy sequel next?

4. Showtime wants to create a whole 'Billions' universe

James Gunn is shaking, as his plans for the DC universe have been upstaged by the unveiling of the Billions Cinematic Universe. Showtime has announced plans to "expand the Billions universe" by developing not one, not two, not three, but an absurd four separate spinoffs of Billions, its drama series about a hedge fund. Let's just say it doesn't appear a tremendous amount of manpower went into coming up with the titles, one of which is Millions and another of which is, well, Trillions. The former series will be about "diverse, thirtysomething, financial mogul wannabes," while the latter is about "titans of industry" who come into "conflict with one another." There will also be Billions: Miami, "set in the world of private aviation," and Billions: London, set "in the world of UK finance." You know what's cooler than a million Billions spinoffs? A billion Billions spinoffs.

5. Viola Davis achieves EGOT status after Oscar snub

All hail the woman king. Viola Davis has officially achieved EGOT status — meaning she has won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony — becoming only the 18th person to do so and third Black woman. The final letter was "G," as she earned a Grammy on Sunday for the audiobook of her memoir Finding Me. This also means Davis won all of her four awards by performing herself, whereas some of the other EGOTs have awards for producing. "It has been such a journey," Davis said. "I just EGOT!" She previously won an Emmy for How to Get Away with Murder, an Oscar for Fences, and Tonys for King Hedley II and Fences. This major achievement comes after Davis was shockingly snubbed at the 2023 Oscars for The Woman King. Now, the only question is if she can become an EGOTK with wins at the Emmys, Grammys, Oscars, Tonys, and Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.
