North Korean nuke accord
North Korea will begin dismantling its nuclear facilities, according to delegates to the six-nation talks on Pyongyang’s nuclear program. Those talks produced an agreement that calls for North Korea to shutter its nuclear site, but implementation had been delayed by several disputes. Sources at the talks said the logjam was broken when the U.S. quietly agreed to remove North Korea from its list of state sponsors of terrorism, if it abided by the pact.
