His 1992 book No More Sex War: The Failures of Feminism was the world's first radical, egalitarian, progressive critique of that creed. He is presently writing a political thriller and has just co-written a musical, Hail to the Chief, about America between the inaugurations of John Kennedy and Richard Nixon.
