Mitch McConnell ad: Hey, Obama fired a gun, too
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) is out with a new ad attacking his Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes, in response to her spot from yesterday in which she fired a shotgun at clay pigeons to prove she's "not Barack Obama."
But wait, McConnell's ad says: Alison Lundergan Grimes "twice supported Obama's platform," presumably referring to her support for Obama in the 2008 and 2012 elections, "for ObamaCare, for the war on coal, for Obama's foreign policy — and ironically, for gun control."
"Oh — and you know who also did a publicity stunt firing a gun?" asks the ad. "Barack Obama." --Eric Kleefeld
