Dramatic video shows moments after military jet crashes into California neighborhood

A Marine jet crashed into a Southern California neighborhood yesterday afternoon, slamming into one house and setting at least two others on fire. The pilot ejected safely and, miraculously, no one was injured. A witness said it "felt like a bomb" had been thrown into the tightly packed community.
Cell phone footage shows the terrifying moments following the crash as thick black smoke billows from the remains of the Harrier AV-8B. Daniel Urias, a high school sophomore, recorded the video below and told KGUN-TV that he initially thought it was a meteor. "I [was] just scared and I thought I had to go check it out and then I asked what it was and they said it was a jet," he said.
It's still unclear why the plane went down.
