With a price tag of $2.5 billion, Hillary Clinton's White House bid is set to be twice as expensive as Barack Obama's was.
According to the Washington Examiner, the Clinton 2016 budget provides for a record-breaking $37.92 per vote, provided the former first lady wins the same number of votes as President Obama did in 2012.
Clinton is already well-connected to top Democratic donors, whether it be from campaigning with husband Bill or raising funds for the Clinton Foundation. Bloomberg reports that she "has raised far more money during the course of her career than any of her 2016 rivals," but warns that because expectations are so high, perhaps her campaign is bound to disappoint.
