Newsweek's Kurt Eichenwald pulled out a literal binder of Tucker Carlson's 'falsehoods' during a brutal Fox News interview
Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson kicked off his Thursday night interview with Newsweek senior writer Kurt Eichenwald by asking Eichenwald if he "believes he's practicing journalism." Eichenwald responded first by laughing, then by asking, "What are you talking about?"
Carlson gladly filled Eichenwald in, listing off some of the writer's tweets about Donald Trump, including one claiming that Trump won't release his medical records because he was "institutionalized in a mental hospital for a nervous breakdown in 1990." Carlson argued the bias shown in the tweets proved Eichenwald should call himself an "advocate," not a journalist, while Eichenwald said he could explain the tweets and where he got his information if Carlson would give him a chance.
The discussion didn't get very far, with Eichenwald eventually pulling out a literal binder entitled, "Tucker Carlson Falsehoods."
