1. Justin Bieber is very proud of his wispy mustache

Justin Bieber is an expert at pandering to his devoted fan base, so he's giving them exactly what they want in his upcoming 3D documentary Believe: A thin, wispy mustache that would be the pride of any 15-year-old. "Come here, have you seen this manhood right here?" says Bieber's manager Scooter Braun in a new 30-second teaser for the film, referring, thankfully, to Justin Bieber's delicate dusting of facial hair. "That's how much of a man I am!" squeaks the Biebs in reply, in a scene that should become the new textbook definition of "irony." [MTV News]

2. The Walking Dead is the most-watched series on television

It's been years since the debut of AMC's The Walking Dead, but the zombie drama just refuses to die. Sunday's fourth-season premiere of the series debuted to a staggering 16.1 million viewers — a record that reestablishes its place as the most-watched series on television. The numbers set a strong precedent for the show, which will presumably reward its loyal fans with an entire season full of impressively gory zombie kills and repetitive, impossibly boring conversations between the blandest characters on television. 3. Charlie Hunnam has dropped out of Fifty Shades of Grey

If you're among the tens of thousands of Fifty Shades of Grey fans who felt that Charlie Hunnam was somehow unequipped to play a handsome, brooding S&M fetishist, we have good news for you: Hunnam has given up the gig in exchange for a different kind of leather-strapped role in FX's Sons of Anarchy. "The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule, which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey," said Universal Pictures in a statement. Producers are no doubt scrambling to find a replacement, so let's hope they have Gilbert Gottfried on speed dial. [The Hollywood Reporter]

4. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are down for another X-Files movie

The X-Files has been off the air for over a decade, but stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson recently said they would be open to reprising their roles in a third film based on the series — presuming, of course, that The Funding Is Out There. "Seriously. We'd all love to do it. The ball is in Fox's hands," wrote Duchovny, referring to the shadowy cabal of network executives that is single-handedly keeping X-Files fans from getting another vaguely disappointing movie to watch. 5. That Stretch Armstrong movie has been indefinitely delayed

The 20-year quest to turn half-remembered children's toy Stretch Armstrong into a blockbuster franchise has been one of Hollywood's strangest obsessions in recent years — and surprise, surprise, the project has hit yet another snag. Relativity Media, which was originally slated to collaborate with Hasbro on the project, has officially dropped out of the Stretch Armstrong movie to focus on "other projects." In a statement, Relativity said, "Stretch Armstrong is an incredible character who will make an amazing movie, and we know that Hasbro has some new ideas they are looking at." Like, say, a rom-com about a dude with stretchy arms, or a period costume drama about a dude with stretchy arms. [The Hollywood Reporter]
