Johansson’s naked truth

This spring, when a hacker stole nude photos from Johansson's cellphone and posted the self-portraits online, the 27-year-old actress took it in stride.

Scarlett Johansson isn’t easily embarrassed, said Peter Biskind in Vanity Fair. This spring, a hacker stole a set of nude photos from the 27-year-old actress’s cellphone and posted the sexy self-portraits online. Many women would be mortified, but Johansson is unashamed. “[The photos] were sent to my husband,” Johansson explains, referring to her ex, the actor Ryan Reynolds. “There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno. Although there’s nothing wrong with that either.” She’s proud of how she looked in the shots, which showed her lounging on a bed and posing in front of a mirror. “I know my best angles,” she says, smiling.

This isn’t the first time Johansson has had her private life exposed. Last year, her divorce from Reynolds made her a staple of the tabloid press. “I had a very public separation. It felt very uncomfortable.” Johansson blames the breakup on her own naïveté. “I think I was not fully aware of the peaks and the valleys. I wasn’t prepared to hunker down and do the work.” But she doesn’t regret the two-year marriage. “It seemed like a very romantic thing to do, and it was. It was the best thing that I ever did.”
