GOOD DAY FOR: Michael Jackson’s heirs, as the late “King of Pop” has earned about $100 million in the 48 days since his death, and the executors of his estate expect that amount to double by the end of the year. Posthumous bread-winning isn’t new—Elvis Presley’s estate brought in $55 million last year alone—but Jackson’s estate is expected to top Presley’s in value. “Clearly that’s a new record for estates that likely will not be broken,” said Jackson co-executor John Branca. BAD DAY FOR: Baby’s first Google, after Web security firm Symantec reported that the Top 10 words or phrases children look up on the Internet include “sex” (No. 4) and “porn” (No. 6). The top search word was YouTube, followed by Google, Facebook, MySpace, and Yahoo. Symantec compiled the list from 3.5 million searches monitored by its OnlineFamily.Norton service. (Reuters)
