Donald Trump doesn't think Ben Carson is as good of a doctor as people make him out to be. Although the retired neurosurgeon — and, notably, Trump's closest competition in many recent Republican presidential polls — was the first physician to successfully separate conjoined twins, and has been widely celebrated for his skill as a physician, Trump would only rate Carson's abilities as a doctor as "okay."

"Well, I'm not sure everyone agrees with that but I'm sure he's a good doctor. I think that he's overrated as a doctor," Trump said in a rather contradictory statement during a Fox News interview Thursday night.
