The New York City Police Department announced Wednesday evening it is aware of a new video purportedly released by the Islamic State warning of an attack against New York City, but said there are no current or specific threats.

The video shows a man putting together what appears to be an explosive device, then zipping his jacket over a suicide belt, CNN reports. It also features images of Manhattan's Herald Square and remarks made by French President Francois Hollande. "While some of the video footage is not new, the video reaffirms the message that New York City remains a top terrorist target," Stephen Davis, a Deputy NYPD Commissioner, said in a statement. "While there is no current or specific threat to the city at this time, we will remain at a heightened state of vigilance." Earlier in the week, ISIS released a video warning of an attack in Washington, D.C.
