General David Petraeus' executive officer in the Iraq War, retired Army Col. Peter Mansoor, says he will be voting for Hillary Clinton this November. "It will be the first Democratic presidential candidate I've voted for in my adult life," he told The Washington Post, claiming that Donald Trump is simply too dangerous to be president.

Clinton is hoping that other Republicans and independents concerned about American security will follow Mansoor's lead as she prepares to give a "major" foreign policy speech on Wednesday in California. She might end up being in luck.
