WikiLeaks' release of apparently hacked Democratic emails has made things awkward for Hillary Clinton's campaign staff, including inciting rumors of collusion among higher-ups to help Clinton earn the nomination over her primary opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders. In one such email, Clinton's campaign manager, Robby Mook, described New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio as "a terrorist" after de Blasio was reported to be hesitating between Clinton and Sanders for his endorsement, Politico reports.

"Told you!" campaign spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri wrote back to Mook in an email that can be viewed here. Just two days later, Mook described de Blasio as his "good friend" at a Politico event.
