Watch every deleted scene from Game of Thrones season 3
Can't wait for the fourth season to premiere? Whet your appetite with these previously unseen glimpses of Westeros.
If you're one of the many hardcore Game of Thrones fans who doesn't subscribe to HBO (and doesn't have a friend with an HBO GO password), you'll be happy to hear that the third season of the fantasy drama finally arrives on both DVD and Blu-Ray today. But as you plan your binge-watches before the premiere of season four, make sure to slot in a little extra time to see what didn't originally make the cut: five deleted and extended scenes that are finally available for fans to dissect.
The new scenes, which make up nearly 15 minutes of footage, offer a little more time with several of the show's most recognizable characters, including Jon Snow, Robb Stark, and Tyrion Lannister. The highlight, however, is a previously unseen exchange between Tywin Lannister and Grand Maester Pycelle, who finally stops pretending to be senile in a surprisingly canny exchange with his onetime ally.
It's an intriguing reminder that few things are as they seem in Game of Thrones — and the perfect way for fans to whet their appetites for the show's return in April.
