WATCH: The great unveiling of the Royal Baby
Kate Middleton and Prince William show off the future king in public
On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge unveiled the long-awaited Royal Baby to a cheering crowd outside of St. Mary's Hospital in central London, after days of anticipation in Britain and around the world. The baby boy was delivered on Monday, July 22, at 4:24 p.m., weighing in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces.
Prince William told the media that he and Kate Middleton hadn't settled on a name for their boy yet, as onlookers snapped pictures from behind. The baby is third in line to the crown, behind his father and Prince Charles.
The baby will eventually be moved from St. Mary's Hospital to Kensington Palace, where his father and uncle, Prince Harry, also spent their childhoods.
