The daily gossip: Vin Diesel hints at three more Fast & Furious sequels, and more
5 top pieces of celebrity gossip — from the rumored Fifty Shades of Grey director to a beer-drinking Justin Bieber
1. Vin Diesel hints at Fast & Furious 7, Fast & Furious 8, and Fast & Furious 9
There are only a few weeks left until Fast & Furious 6 hits theaters, but franchise star Vin Diesel has already set his sights much, much further into the future. "The audience now appreciates stories that connect and a direction that you'll take over multiple pictures," Diesel told Entertainment Weekly, under the apparent misconception that anyone, anywhere, cares about the overarching plot of the Fast & Furious cycle. "It's about going into the next trilogy with all your ducks in order, and an idea of where 7, 8, and 9 will go." Diesel didn't elaborate on his hypothetical ideas for the next Fast & Furious, but we're going to go out on a limb and guess that some cars will go vrooooom.

2. Joe Wright might direct Fifty Shades of Grey
Universal's upcoming film adaptation of S&M-themed mommy-porn smash-hit Fifty Shades of Grey continues its languorous crawl into theaters without either of its bondage-loving protagonists cast. But according to E! Online, the film may finally have a director soon. The top contender for the job is allegedly Joe Wright, whose penchant for lavish, sprawling costume dramas like Atonement and Anna Karenina apparently makes him the perfect candidate for a story about being tied up in a bedroom.

Oh, the hard-knock life of an A-List actress. In a recent interview with USA Today, Iron Man 3 star Gwyneth Paltrow revealed that she was forced to walk the red carpet at the Met Ball earlier this week — and had a totally terrible time! "I'm never going again. It was so un-fun," complained the actress. "It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all." Unfortunately, Paltrow did not explain how sympathetic fans could donate to the "make sure Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't have to go to any more fancy parties" fund.

4. You can see an image from The Walking Dead's fourth season
AMC scored series-high ratings for its zombie drama The Walking Dead this year, which has left fans clamoring for anything and everything that might hint at the direction of the show's fourth season. And now the network has appeased them by releasing the first image from the upcoming season — and what do you know, there's a zombie in it! The photo, available at Entertainment Weekly, shows series protagonist Rick Grimes standing in a forest, with the zombie (or perhaps just a really, really unhealthy person) standing behind him. Anyone who can't wait for more Walking Dead can look at literally any other image from the show, which is totally undistinguishable from this one.

5. Justin Bieber drank a beer
Impish Canadian moppet Justin Bieber is only 19 years old, but a recent picture posted by the teen offers the shocking revelation that the Biebs isn't above having a beer. On Friday, the pop star took to Instagram to post a picture of himself sticking his tongue out while drinking an Amstel "in the jungle" — an utterly banal image that has already racked up more than 43,000 comments, because this is Justin Bieber.
