The Boston Marathon attack last week produced five deaths in all: The initial explosions killed 8-year-old Martin Richard, restaurant manager Krystle Campbell, and Chinese graduate student Lu Lingzi. MIT police officer Sean Collier was shot and killed by one of the bombers. And bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev died at the hospital after a confrontation with police.
