When Don Draper and company were last sighted, Don was contemplating a new infidelity, Roger was seeking enlightenment through LSD (again), and Peggy appeared poised to create a landmark tagline for Virginia Slims cigarettes. They have all come a long way, baby. At the end of a dark season, hints of change were in the air. The two-hour Season 6 premiere, titled “The Doorway,” suggests passage into new territory—the late 1960s, perhaps. Sunday, April 7, at 9 p.m., AMC
