Gossip: Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan avoided going to jail after accepting a plea deal to spend 90 days in a locked rehab facility.
Lindsay Lohan avoided going to jail this week after accepting a plea deal to spend 90 days in a locked rehab facility. The troubled actress had been expected to stand trial in Los Angeles on charges of reckless driving and lying to police, but entered a last-minute guilty plea. Lohan agreed to spend 90 days in a “locked rehabilitation facility,” before carrying out 30 days of community service and 18 months of psychological counseling. The charges stem from a June 2012 accident in Los Angeles in which Lohan’s Porsche rear-ended a truck, and she falsely told police she wasn’t driving the car. “A suggestion,” the judge told Lohan. “Don’t drive.”
