Gossip: Jennifer Lawrence
The Silver Linings Playbook star became a fashion victim at the Oscars ceremony.
Jennifer Lawrence became a fashion victim at this week’s Oscars ceremony. The Silver Linings Playbook star, 22, stumbled over her voluminous Dior Haute Couture gown and fell as she climbed the stairs to the podium to receive her Best Actress award. Fellow nominee Hugh Jackman rushed to Lawrence’s aid, but she quickly scrambled to her feet and dealt with the fall with aplomb. “You guys are just standing up because you felt bad that I fell,” she said to the audience, which had given her a standing ovation. “It’s really embarrassing.” Lawrence was quick to laugh off her face-plant after the ceremony. “What went through my mind when I fell down?” she said. “A bad word that I can’t say that starts with F.”
