Kim Kardashian and Kanye West caused a long delay for fellow passengers when they got VIP treatment at New York’s JFK airport last week. American Airlines officials rushed the couple through restricted areas of the airport when they flew in from Brazil, bypassing security checkpoints, so they could reach a connecting flight to Los Angeles. But when the TSA discovered that “Kimye” hadn’t been screened before boarding, it yanked them off the flight for a private screening—while fuming fellow passengers sat stranded on the runway for 50 minutes. The airline later apologized for its “lapse in judgment.”
