Michelle Obama caused a buzz at the presidential inauguration this week as she showed off a chic new hairstyle—a bob styled with bangs. Fashionistas called her new ’do “bold” and “youthful,” and even her husband weighed in on it. “I love her bangs,” he said. “She looks good. She always looks good.” The fashion world also praised the red gown the First Lady wore to the Inaugural Ball, by designer Jimmy Chu, and the blue-checked coat and dress she wore at the inauguration ceremony. “Stunning,” and “tailored to perfection” was the verdict of fashion critic Booth Moore.
