Britney Spears and her agent/fiancé, Jason Trawick, have announced they are splitting up. Trawick was tired of “pseudo-parenting” the formerly troubled superstar, and wants to revive his career managing other artists, sources told TMZ.com. Last year, Trawick agreed to share responsibility with her father for his fiancée’s conservatorship, imposed after a mental breakdown in 2007. Spears also announced last weekthatshe would not return as a judge to The X Factor, saying it was time “to get back in the studio” and record her eighth album. Spears quit before X Factor producer Simon Cowell could fire her from the $15-million-a-year job, reports indicated.
