Gossip: Johnny Depp
A California doctor claims Depp's bodyguards manhandled her at an Iggy Pop concert.
Johnny Depp’s overprotective bodyguards may end up costing him dearly, said theNew York Daily News. An L.A. court gave Robin Eckert the green light to seek punitive damages against the star last week, after his bodyguards allegedly manhandled her at an Iggy Pop concert. Depp’s minders are accused of bear-hugging the California doctor from behind, handcuffing her, and dragging her along the floor until her pants fell down. Depp’s lawyers claim Eckert, 53, assaulted the actor, said the Los Angeles Times, and that he had “reasonable fear for his safety and life.”
