Bishop Gene Robinson of New Hampshire is an unassuming man who has taken on a big mission. During the nine years since the Episcopal cleric became mainline Christianity’s first openly gay bishop, the 65-year-old Robinson has steadfastly sought equal rights for LGBT individuals within his church and state, even in the face of death threats.
