Gossip: Shia LaBeouf
LaBeouf went the extra mile to win a part in Lars von Trier's new film, Nymphomaniac.
Some actors are willing to go the extra mile to win a part, said The Guardian (U.K.). But it’s unlikely that many actors go as far as Shia LaBeouf. The Transformers star sent Danish director Lars von Trier a homemade sex tape of himself with his girlfriend to secure a role in his controversial new film, Nymphomaniac, which will feature footage of real sex. LaBeouf admitted he’d likely use a body double for explicit scenes, but wanted to give the director proof of his commitment to the role. “I know we’re trying to do something different,” he said. “It’s not your typical film.”
