Gossip: Zhang Ziyi
The actress denies being paid to have sexual relations with Bo Xilai and other high-ranking Chinese officials.
Chinese star Zhang Ziyi is fighting a nasty rumor, said the New York Daily News. The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon actress has vehemently denied reports that surfaced last week on a news website and in a Hong Kong newspaper alleging that she took payments totaling $100 million to have sexual relations with ousted Chinese politician Bo Xilai and other high-ranking Chinese officials. A rep for the actress called the accusations “completely false and defamatory” and has threatened to take legal action against the site, Boxun.com, and the newspaper, Apple Daily, unless an apology is issued.
