The singer and fashion designer, 31, and her husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson, 32, welcomed a 9 pound, 13 ounce baby girl, Maxwell Drew, in relative luxury last week. The couple spent $4,000 per day for a posh birthing suite at Los Angeles’s Cedars Sinai Medical Center, but Simpson could easily recoup her expenses. Through the sale of baby pictures, mommy-related fashion products, endorsements with weight-loss companies, and other marketing ploys, Simpson could make as much as $14 million from the pregnancy.
