Gossip: Patrick Dempsey
The Grey’s Anatomy star helped rescue a teenager after the boy’s Ford Mustang flipped near the actor’s Malibu, Calif., home.
Patrick Dempsey is a real-life hero, said People.com. The Grey’s Anatomy star went into life-saving mode last week, wielding a crowbar and a fire extinguisher to help rescue a teenager after the boy’s Ford Mustang flipped near the actor’s Malibu, Calif., home. Dempsey pulled Weston Masset, 17, from the car, and then called the boy’s mother to tell her that her son, who was treated for minor injuries, was all right. “I asked if he was a paramedic, and he said, ‘No this is Patrick Dempsey.’ I thought, ‘McDreamy?’” said Mary Beth Masset.
