Robin Gibb unexpectedly woke from a coma this week, said People.com. The former Bee Gee, 62, who is battling colon and liver cancer, was unconscious for 12 days after contracting pneumonia. Family members had been clinging to his bedside, “talking to him and playing his favorite music to him” in the days before his awakening, said doctors in a statement, adding that Gibb is now lucid and able to speak.
